2015 Resolutions for Kristin Janiszewski Photography
Okay, here it is… my 2015 resolutions and you all need to keep me to them!!
1. BLOG!!! This post is the first step, and hopefully my purchase of blogstomp helps!! I love so much about my sessions and really need to post more work other than just 1 or 2 Facebook previews to share all of my faves with the world.
2. Capture more images of my own kiddos, and actually edit and print them! I have some lost on my computer, but I REALLY need to edit and print more. Poor Michael has two pictures up in our house, and Avery’s are from WAY too long ago. My mother in law always says it’s like the cobbler’s kids who don’t have shoes… yep that’s me! Starting here with some earlier 2014 ones 🙂 More to come with my less busy season this winter!! And ALSO joined Shoot Along 2015 to help me stay motivated too!
3. Continue to grow as a photographer, and deliver the best possible work to my clients! What does that mean? Education and being more selective with sessions. I know that sounds crazy, but I promise it’s better! With shoots, both me and my clients love certain images, and they all happen to be at specific times of day (usually sunset!) so this year I VOW to stick to those times. I will write a lengthier blog post on this alone, but it will ensure I am delivering the best work for my clients. AND SOOOOOOO excited to travel to Charlotte to mentor with the AH-MA-ZING Sarah Hill from Sarah-Beth Photography this summer. If you haven’t seen her stuff, do it! Just ridiculously awesome and so excited to learn from the best.
Now I HAVE to stick to it. It’s in writing. Happy New Year to all and looking forward to all 2015 has in store!!! Smooches!!!
Great post!! I need to take time for my own kids pictures as well! Cheers!
What great goals to have! I’m sure 2015 will be a fabulous year for you!
Your resolutions are same as mine! Hopefully we can encourage one another to stay on top of things!
Those are great goals! You have beautiful photos (and children!) and can absolutely accomplish those goals!
I love your personal goal to print more pictures of your very own. That is one on mine too. digital has made it so easy to take pictures and et we fall behind on the printing. I need to do the very same.
Love these! And I’m holding you to #1! 😉
