Upon booking, all clients receive my *AMAZING* Session Prep Guide that includes a section on “What to Wear” and a questionnaire so that I can gather more info about you, your family, and what you want most from our time together. This helps me to customize your session.

Posed sessions take place in the La Grange studio only and include baby, parents and siblings. No need to bring anything as all props and backgrounds are provided. Every baby is different and as such session length varies but most sessions last 2-3 hours. Posed sessions are best within baby’s first 14 days, however my first priority is the health and safety of all family members, so if there are any concerns we plan accordingly. I only take a limited number of newborns each month to allow for scheduling flexibility so it’s best to book your session as soon as you are comfortable. You receive all digital images with printing rights.

Lifestyle newborn sessions take place in the comfort of our own home with baby, parents and siblings. No fancy setups or props, your living space will be the backdrop for our session. Don’t ever fear that your house isn’t “clean enough” or “pretty enough,” as I will walk around and find the best light and best space to showcase your family. Every baby is different and as such session length varies but most sessions last 1.5-2 hours. Lifestyle sessions are best within baby’s first 2-3 weeks, however my first priority is the health and safety of all family members, so if there are any concerns we plan accordingly. I only take a limited number of newborns each month to allow for scheduling flexibility so it’s best to book your session as soon as you are comfortable. You receive all digital images with printing rights.

Mini newborns sessions are for those who only want a handful of images of baby only and take place in my La Grange studio. Babies can be awake or asleep, and we get all we can with our short time together. These are NOT posed sessions as those take more time. No need to bring anything as all props and backgrounds are provided. One prop setup and one blanket will be used for for mini newborn sessions. If you have additional requests please look to book a Full Newborn session.

Packaged sessions take place within 1 year of the first session date (with the exception of any add-on Maternity Sessions)

Please note a signed contract and $200 non-refundable retainer is required to secure a session date. No dates will be held without these two items. Client has 24 hours to submit or the session date will be released. Remaining session balance is due no later than the date of the session. Payment can be made via PayPal, Chase Quick Pay, or check. Thank you for understanding.

All outdoor sessions are held within 90 minutes of sunrise or sunset for the most flattering light.

A travel fee is required for any location 15+ miles away from La Grange, IL.

Add $25 per person for 6+ people for all sessions. Print credits cannot be applied toward any session fees.

Print credits can only be applied to product purchases from that booked session.

It is thoroughly understood by the client that digital negatives are not to be copied or distributed commercially in any way and are for personal use only. Any and all use of images for commercial use must be approved by photographer without exception. Kristin Janiszewski Photography, Inc. reserves copyright of all images.
