Spring has *finally* sprung!!!

Well almost!!

This wonderful family lives further north, and thankfully I arrived 45 min early to scout!! All of the forest preserves I had written down as possible places, just 30-45 minutes north of me, were barren!! It still looked like winter!! Thankfully mom had a few options and we raced to a little park and were able to get some amazing images!! As a side note, I typically don’t shoot in “parks” when little kiddos are involved, since if there is a slide or swingset in view, I tend to lose those battles. I mean, of course that’s more fun than smiling for me, right?!?! But didn’t need to worry with these ones!!

It was chilly but no one would have know! We played and did a little exploring through the muddy trails, but we found some gorgeous light and could not be happier to see this family again in the fall! Such love and emotion, and such a pleasure to meet them!!
